As I mentioned in my previous posts, I didn’t plan to blog yet at the time we visited Rome. So we just enjoyed discovering the Ancient city and Italian culture. It was, as well, time for us to buy some souvenirs and to enjoy the tasteful Italian food.

We walked around without any guide so I don’t remember all the names of the streets and some places! All we learnt were “Viale “and “Piazza ” to indicate them. We were too busy taking many photos and we really had fun, despite the chilly weather.

You can view the coloseo and the Imperial Fora and its garden on a different angle from this area. A few Mobile Street food vans were along the road. Paninis and pizza were affordable so we just took them for lunch.

On the photos above : The Piazza navona where you’ll find various shows and many Christmas Market stalls ( Mercato di Natale ). The Altare della patrie where you can get photos next to the security guards. The great Pantheon, the best preserved monument and its incredible story. And everywhere was full of tourists coming in and out…It really made our visit specific and magical.

Exploring Roma city wasn’t boring at all. It was a wonderful visit and the greatest experience of our life so far.

Thank you for reading. See you on the next post about Rome tour!

Have a Great New Month !

  1. Isn´t it beautiful? Beautiful pictures also and your own word. I just can add that having been there as a youngster, seeing the Vatican was quite the impression, just a beautiful city, and most of them go in motor bikes! That was a bit weird to see at the time, yet a beautiful place to visit and live.
