Panettone cake and Christmas πŸŽ„

Scroll down to content

As this year comes to an end and Christmas day is in a couple of weeks, we remembered our incredible visit to Roma, a few years back. And so, the traditional cake for festive nativity : the panettone.

Panettone is an Italian type of sweet bread originally from Milan, usually prepared and enjoyed for Christmas and New Year in Western, Southern, and Southeastern Europe as well as in Latin America, Eritrea, Australia, the United States and Canada( source : Wikipedia)

Sliced and mostly served at breakfast, this cake is truly delicious. Even though we had seen them before, we never had tasted Panettone. In Roma, eating them was simply an unforgettable experience and became the association of Christmas and Italy for us.

Have a wonderful Month! And enjoy waiting for the upcoming Holiday.
